Technical Consultant

Infratects is seeking to recruit a Technical Consultant who can work on the full portfolio of services of Infratects, but with a focus on the area of Enterprise Performance Management. The Technical Consultant has a role in acquisition and business development; however the focus will be on project execution.
From a Technical Consultant we expect the following contributions:
  1. Project execution.
  2. Provides advice to customers; executes project activities independently and ensures that adequate project documentation is delivered.
  3. Operates independently or within a team on various projects of Infratects.
  4. Communicates clearly about the starting points and constraints of an assignment and manages the expectations of a customer effectively.
  5. Communicates effectively about the progress of activities towards the client as well as internally.
  6. Builds and maintains lasting relationships with customers and extends her/his network.
  7. Spots opportunities for new projects.
  8. Spots and monitors technological and market developments.
  9. Contributes to the development of methods and techniques.

For this position we are looking for candidates who have:

  1. At least High School level of education, complemented with relevant ICT related training and education.
  2. At least 2 years of relevant work experience, preferably as an IT consultant.
  3. Knowledge of complex IT environments, various databases and web technologies
  4. MCSE certified in Windows 2003 or Windows 2008
  5. Adequate knowledge of at least two ranges of hardware (HP, DELL or IBM).
  6. Specific experience with the software of our partners in the area of Enterprise Performance Management is preferred (Oracle and IBM) but not expected.
  7. Certification in either Citrix or Cisco is preferred.

Knowledge of one of the variants of UNIX is preferred.
