We are proud to announce that

Aside from the

With the imminent
retirement of enhanced support for v9.2.0.3 and lower versions, and the need to
incorporate Windows & SQL 2008 and IE8 support in existing environments,
a lot of clients are seriously considering upgrading to EPM v11.x.
Where the client has a fully structured
Development, Test and Production environment the possibility exists to deploy
v11.x in Development, while keeping Test and Production on existing release
levels, giving the client and their functional consulting partner the
opportunity to migrate, test and where necessary redevelop thier applications
to make the most of the benefits EPM v11.x.
The Infratects Hosted Migration Service offers clients (who don't have
a spare environment that can be taken out of service for an extended period of
time) the opportunity to make use of a clean, professionally installed and
supported EPM v11.x environment in order to prepare their migration. Obvious

Ton joined us on 1st March 2010
as a Senior Consultant. Having worked within the EPM world for Oracle and
Hyperion for the last four years.
During his time at Oracle | Hyperion, Ton had the pleasure of
servicing clients across Europe in many different verticals working with the
product suite from pre-System 9 versions through to v11.1.1.3, so there may
well be many of you that have already had the pleasure of his
acquaintance.
As the latest
addition to our consulting team in the Netherlands Ton's arrival underlines our
commitment to ensuring that we have the best, most knowledgeable and
experienced resources available to service our clients.
We are sure you will join us in
welcoming Ton to the Infratects team. |

EPM v11.1.2 is availabe |
|
|
|
|
EPM v11.1.2 has been
released recently and is a major release of the EPM suite. From a Technical
persepctive the release offers some new and interesting changes.
- Windows 2008
support
- Internet Explorer 8 support
- SQL 2008 support
- Weblogic replaces Tomcat as the
embedded Java Application Server
- Oracle HTTP Server
replaces Apache as the embedded Web Server
- OpenLDAP has
been removed from Shared Services
- Foundation Services have
been consolidated
- Design Principles for building
environments have changed
As a consequence of all of these changes, there are also enhanced
requirements surrounding Memory and CPU requirements for machines running the
EPM Suite.
At this point in
time, while the technical and functional enhancements are enticing, we are
advising waiting for the planned release of SP1 around August before
considering this release for anything except pure development
use. |
